Hi! Happy Wednesday! I’m sorry I missed you on Friday. I was on the Jitney with the plan to write, but would you believe there were no tray tables? Instead of trying to balance my laptop precariously on my body, I decided to plug in my headphones, throw on a podcast, and stare out the window for a few hours.
There’s always good people-watching on the Jitney. Peeking between the seats, I saw an older woman reading the paper, scribbling notes (actually, it looked like phone numbers?) in the margins. Charming. Plus, we arrived 20 minutes early! Huge.

I did some watching/reading/research on the ride. Let’s get into the standout stories.
I haven’t watched a Vogue ‘7 days, 7 looks’ video in a while, but this one with Camille Rowe was a joyful rewatch. It’s from 2020 but still feels relevant (good style is like that). I’m now desperate for a vintage nightgown.
Airmail published one of the best egg-freezing stories I’ve read. It’s a short read but feels personal and juicy (“after her fiancée bolted…”). There are no numbers related to egg counts and you won’t read the word ‘bloating.’
Big woah to this monarch butterfly hair clip spotted on Leandra Medine.
Someone must buy this yellow Zara minidress. Great for a bachelorette party.
Hot take: More brands should make playlists! I’m intrigued by this new workout label H-O-R-S-E (like the basketball game) and was pleasantly surprised to find their link in bio led to a playlist ‘FOR JUMPING JACKS’. Cool!
I’m embarrassed to say I haven’t been inside the Frick yet, but I hear it’s the place to be this spring. “A ticket to the Frick Collection is the best money you can spend in New York,” according to the Throwing Fits guys.
Lancôme getting Chad Micheal Murray to promote Juicy Tubes is brilliant. (Waiting for you is like waiting for rain in this draught!)
How sick is this tulip beaded necklace? (Shoutout Maddie for turning me onto this brand :))
TikTok served me a fabulous mini series this week: The royal wedding photographer giving behind-the-scenes commentary from the shoots he did with Harry and Meghan for their engagement and wedding. When I was an intern at Bazaar, I covered everything royal wedding-related. It felt like such a big deal at the time, so it’s fascinating hearing the perspective of an artist who helped create the visuals that shaped the public narrative.
@alexi.lubomirski#ReSHOOT (PLEASE KEEP COMMENTS POSITIVE, AND IF NOT ABLE, JUST DONT COMMENT. LETS KEEP NEGATIVITY TO A MINIMUM PLEASE) Today is Harry and Meghans anniversary so here is part 1 about the engagement pics ! #archive #photography #celebrityportraiture #canon #royalwedding #royalengagement #harryandmeghanTiktok failed to load.

Okay that’s all for now! I’ll leave you with one of my favorite vibe shots from last weekend.
Love,
Megan
